As part of the All Schools program currently running this year with RFU (Rugby Football Union). Both boys and girls at Pensby High School have benefited from a fantastic partnership offering us equipment and top RFU Rugby coaching staff that have been working with staff and pupils. As part of this partnership we were offered the chance to design one of 2 free new rugby kits given to the school from top Rugby clothing design company Canterbury.
On the 13th October 2016, 4 luckystudents from year 8 ; Sam William-Davies, Simba Ojok, Bailey Leather and Aidan Simpson, travelled down to London by train to Twickenham Rugby Stadium the home of Rugby.
They spent the day designing our new Rugby Shirts incorporating elements form our School crest and logo into our newJersey. They all had a brilliant day of creativity designing our new tops which will culminate in a return trip Twickenham Stadium on 26 February 2017 to be presented with our new kit at the England vs Italy Six Nations Championship game.
One pupil will also have the honour of being a flag bearer for the England Rugby Team on the pitch at this International game. A fantastic experience our students.
Here's to another excellent year of Rugby partnership with RFU going into 2017.
