Book of the Year event at WGFG

Book of the Year Event at WGFG

On 25th April, Pensby took a group of students from Years 8,9 &10 to attend the Wirral Book of the Year event at Wirral Grammar for Girls. We have been discussing the shortlisted books in our Tuesday night book group in the library since October. We met 6 of the shortlisted authors; they all had a fun and engaging presentation, followed by a short Q&A session. All of our Pensby students had relevant and interesting questions to ask. We finished our day with the chance to buy some of the books and to get them signed by the authors
